Dear IPCV Students,
If you are looking for a fun activity for the autumn break (or for any other time), I’d like to recommend a great team-building experience in Budapest. Escape rooms are extremely popular here, and the city has many high-quality options. One of the very best is Neverland, which offers an excellent combination of immersive escape games and a stylish cocktail bar. You can check out the place here: https://neverland.hu/en
Neverland features eight different themed escape rooms, each designed with great creativity and attention to detail. Up to seven players can participate in one room, so for your whole cohort, you would need to book three rooms (running at the same time). After the one-hour escape game, you can continue your evening together in their cocktail bar, which is also highly rated and has a lively atmosphere.
On the website, you can read the storylines and themes of each escape room. The Wild West room and the Jailbreak are especially brilliant (at least I enjoyed them a lot), the Aztec Catacomb is also great fun, and I’ve heard excellent feedback about the Wizard Trials too (though I haven’t tried that one myself yet). In truth, whichever theme you choose will be a good time – just pick what the group finds most appealing.
You can book online, and I recommend checking for a time slot when three rooms are available simultaneously. If you let me know which rooms and time you’ve chosen, there’s a good chance I can arrange a 20% discount if you make the reservation through me (my son works there, so I may be able to arrange a staff discount for you).
I think this could be a great way for your group to relax, have fun, and strengthen your team spirit outside the classroom.
Best regards,
Andrea
