Dear new students,
We are excited to invite you to our traditional semester-start Hungarian Gulyás Party on Saturday, September 13, hosted by our mentor Bálint Siklósi in Pécel. This will be a wonderful opportunity to enjoy Hungarian culture, food, and company in a relaxed outdoor setting.
Event details:
Date: Saturday, September 13
Meeting point: 2.00 pm at Blaha Lujza Square (we will travel together by train)
Return: in the evening
Location: Pécel, outside of Budapest (at Bálint’s place)
Capacity: up to 50 participants (first-come, first-served basis)
Food & drinks:
Traditional Hungarian gulyás (halal meat will be used).
Vegetarian snack-type options will be available, but not a full vegetarian meal.
Gluten-free gulyás can be prepared - please let the host know upon arrival.
A basic selection of soft drinks will be provided. If you would like special beverages or alcoholic drinks, please bring your own (a fridge will be available).
We also kindly ask everyone to bring some additional snacks or drinks to share.
Contribution:
A small contribution of 1,000 HUF is requested. Please submit it at the International Office during the following week.

If the 50-person limit is reached, further registrations will be placed on a waiting list.
If you register but cannot come after all, please inform us immediately so we can offer your spot to someone else.
