Dear IPCV Students,
Unfortunately, a misunderstanding has arisen regarding the December 19 exam for the course Fundamentals and Basic Tools for Deep Learning . I would therefore like to clarify the situation for the entire cohort.
*
The Friday exam has a total capacity of 9 places, and no additional slots can be opened.
*
Only students who already have the signature for the course are eligible to register for the exam.
*
Due to a misunderstanding, some students were registered for the exam even though they are scheduled to take a make-up test on Thursday, after which they will receive (or not receive) their signature. These students can therefore only be registered for the Friday exam after this date, and only if there are remaining slots for the exam.
*
For this reason, after sending this email, I will have to remove everyone from the Friday exam registration who does not yet have a signature at the moment.
Today, Kristóf Karacs will record the signatures of those students who have already fulfilled the requirements. After this, up to 9 students will be able to register for the exam (everybody should do it on their own). We will then see whether the capacity is fully reached.
By Thursday evening, it will become clear which of the students taking the make-up test obtain the signature. If there are still available places for the Friday exam, additional students will be able to register on Thursday evening, up to the capacity limit. Since they won't be able to do it on their own (do to the late registration time), I will do the registration based on the instructions of Prof. Karacs.
Students who are unable to register for the December 19 exam will have the opportunity to take the exam on January 8.
Thank you for your understanding.
Best regards,
Andrea

Dear IPCVai students,
I’m happy to share that the application period for the 2026 IPCVai intake has officially opened. We have posted the announcement on LinkedIn, and I would like to kindly ask for your help: if you feel comfortable, it would mean a lot if you could share the post within your own networks (even with a few personal words about your experience, if you wish). Your perspective as current students is incredibly valuable.
Of course, you are also very welcome to reach out to interested friends or contacts in any way you find most effective. The main goal is simply to help us spread the word to those who might genuinely benefit from or be curious about the programme.
We will be holding an online Open Day on 9 December, which is a great opportunity for prospective applicants to learn more about IPCVai. If you know someone who might be considering applying, please encourage them to register. (The registration link can be found on the IPCV website.)
Thank you very much in advance for your support.
Wishing you all a smooth end of the semester.
Warm regards,
Andrea
