interview about IPCV semester 1 - Ipcv.2025-2027

Dear IPCV Students, 

As we discussed it on Friday, I would like to put together a " cohort interview"
about your semester and experiences in Budapest. Below, you’ll find the questions we’ve
prepared for this. 

If you feel inspired by any of them, please write me a few sentences. When you do so,
always copy the question above your answer, and then write your response underneath it.
From your individual contributions, I will “blend together” the final cohort interview. 

Since many of you volunteered to reply, there is absolutely no need for everyone to answer
every question; quite the opposite. 😊 Please choose a maximum of 4-5 questions per person
. That will already give us plenty of great material. And if someone feels like responding
to just one single question , that is also perfectly fine and very welcome. We might not
use all the questions/answers, or we might split up the interview into several shorter
ones - we'll have to see the material that comes together thanks to your contribution.

Please send me your answers by Thursday noon at the latest. 

Here are the proposed interview questions:

If you had to sum up your first semester in just one word, what would it be – and why that
word? (This is something we did on Friday, but without the explanation part.) 
    * Do you remember a moment (e.g. a conversation, a shared experience etc.) when you
first thought: “Okay, I belong here”?

What are your impressions of studying and being part of Pázmány ITK?

What surprised you most about studying IPCV? 
    * 

What’s the one experience from the first semester that stayed with you the most? (This can
either be an academic experience or some social activity etc; anything that comes to your
mind) 
    * Was there a point during the semester when things felt difficult or overwhelming?
How did you get through it? 
    * 

From an academic point of view, which courses or subject(s) meant the most to you? 
    * What has your experience with Hungary been like? (OR: Did anything about Hungarian
culture positively surprise you?) 
    * Is there one small Budapest moment that made you feel you were truly living here,
not just studying abroad?

How do you feel you’ve changed since the start of the semester? In what ways are you
different now? 
    * If you could go back and talk to yourself a year ago (just before applying to the
program), what would you tell yourself? (OR: What’s one “hidden gem” of the IPCV program
that everyone should know about?) 
    * Looking ahead, what are you most curious or excited about when it comes to the
upcoming semester in Madrid?
